I believe you get out of school what you put into it and McCallum provides excellent opportunities for all students. My daughter is in AP classes and is a dance major in the Fine Arts Academy. She has wonderful teachers that are grooming her for college and teaching classes that I wish I could attend. The arts aspect of the school keep it funky, diversified, and more culturally advanced than any other school I know of in the area. I love McCallum.

McCallum in a great school. It needs a little help as every school does, but the teachers care about students and work hard and the programs there are extremely varied. Any student can find a ton of things to be involved in and they have to be willing to work. I am proud of my school, I commute from three cities over to get there, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. This school has everything I need because I am willing to work.

It's such a modern school. There aren't really clics. Everyone can get along with everyone. You see the weirdest couples and friends walking through the hallways. It's extremely accepting.

It's often hard to find teachers who genuinely care in public high schools, or rather it's hard to find public high schools that hire teachers who care, but McCallum is one of such places. A good amount of teachers of different subjects enjoy and are knowledgeable about they teach, want to see students succeed and are not afraid to interact with students and their family. I would say going to McCallum almost over prepared me for college.

being at McCallum is one of the best decisions i ever made as a student. i was never interested in sports and just wanted to focus on my studies, but when i got to the school, the school spirit is very high. the Teachers and faculty members give time for Pep-rallies which bumps up entire school as whole. The school matching band is my favorite, they keep the whole school moving and entertained. The gym is really big and always kept clean. so is the wight-room. students are watched all the time when going to the weight-room, so they could be save and follow instructions. Once again, McCallum is a very fun place to be.
